The Anti-vaccination movement is a danger to our children's health. Many new parents are following this movement because they are listening to unreliable sources claiming that vaccines can cause autism and that they don't work, despite the lack of proof supporting this argument, and the overwhelming amount of proof and research that proves the opposite. Due to this movement we have, unfortunately, seen the return of polio and an outbreak of measles that started in Disneyland. Not vaccinating your child is medical neglect and a danger to the future health of that child. If a child breaks their arm or has the flu and you refuse to take them to get treated that is considered neglect. It shouldn't be different for preventative medicine that has been proven to be effective.
