First, freeze and seize assets and bank accounts of the representatives that forced the government into shutdown.
Second, these funds should be used to cover the back pay of all furloughed workers, plus interest and any delinquency fees the furloughed workers may have encountered.
Third, enact a law which forces members of the House and Senate to pay, out of their own pockets, for the continuing funding of the government in the event that a future budget deal cannot be reached.
