make respect for due process rights of citizens a requirement in legal or civil proceeding for copyright enforcement.

Created by S.D. on November 14, 2011

In recent news, we have learned that copyright owners are filing DMCA notices for works they don't even own. That the administration has created a defacto 3-strikes law among the major ISPs that does not take into account due process rights of the accused. Copyright owners are acting like they have unlimited authority to protect the works they own without regard to human rights.

Therefore, in any legal, administrative or legislative proceeding, this administration must place due process rights above all other rights for it is is due process rights that make this country so great. Without those rights, we become ripe for despotism and dictatorship.
