Recently Marine Corps Veteran Bennie Coleman had his house taken from him for a $134 property tax bill that due to dementia he had forgotten to pay. Washington, DC, instead of helping the man instead put a lien on the house then sold it to a predator. That predator forced the 76 year old man out of his house, which was entirely paid for. (http://tinyurl.com/mldlrqm) We demand that the United States Government give restitution to Mr. Coleman in the form of a large cash settlement. We further demand that the United States Government acknowledge the depths of the dishonor it allowed to be committed against this veteran who gave honorable service to our country. We demand that the United States Government beg forgiveness from Mr. Coleman for their crimes against him.
