Infant circumcision is harmful to babies. The trauma endured by the barbaric act causing troubles breastfeeding, altered personalities, and makes the baby scream constantly.
In 1997 female circumcision was made illegal and under the same law boys should be protected.
It has been known for years now that circumcision is a cosmetic procedure. Many parents are not fully educated on the process. Doctors fail to mention the death rate, the various complications that can occur, or the fact that many babies get mutilated without anesthesia. This is not right and we plead for you to hear our cries as parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, friends, and family.
We are the only country that still does this for looks. There is no medical benefit.
