The school lunches have been downsized since the beginning of this school year. Children, especially adolescent athletes, are having to buy twice as much even three times as much as they used to. Also they are now just having to bring in their own lunch because they quality of food has significantly decreased.
The government should not be in control of what children and teens are eating. This just comes to show how much the government is trying to control our lives.
What I want to see happen is that the responsibility of deciding our local school menu should be put into our local government hand's and not the federal government's, school lunches should taste better, and for the 'Federal school lunch plan' to be removed from our schools.
