American children are under pressure as a result of large amounts of homework and long school days. Many kids are also involved with many extracurricular activities (i.e. sport, clubs, groups, etc.) and/or have home lives that disable children from completing classwork effectively. This can easily be solved by shortening the school year and letting out school earlier.
