Americans need to recognize the importance of having companies that make their products in the United States.
Although it is beneficial to receive imports from other countries, companies making products in the U.S. provides Americans with jobs and puts the money directly into the U.S.
Many companies are shutting down plants in the U.S. and outsourcing because of competition with other companies that have found it cheaper to have products made over seas. Sometimes this is necessary and companies may flourish from this decision, but the cost is American jobs. We should not get in a situation in which we are depending on other country's products.
The American people should recognize the few companies that make their products in the U.S. and help them in keeping jobs in America.
