Companies should stop selling our personal information for profit. Companies that violate these laws must be held responsible in criminal court just as a peeping tom would be. Executives could face jail time and companies could pay stiff fines for each vioalation. Companies could still collect information for legitamate reasons for the use of the products they sell but any release of this information would be a crime.
