Ironically, a vast majority of First Responders will not get it off , however, once a year it will hold the public accountable for paying tribute to those emergency workers, civil servants , state, and federal disaster workers who are sworn to excellence and integrity. These women and men proudly sacrifice and risk their lives on a daily basis for cities, towns, counties, and states. September 11th is the best representation of the highest expectations we have for such workers. On that day, they rose above even the highest of standards.
