Make September 11th a national day of remembrance by declaring it a national holiday.

Created by D.R. on September 11, 2015

September 11th more than any other date in history is and should be a time of memorial and remembrance. No date more than this conjures feelings of sorrow, grief and loss for our nation and citizens should be permitted time to reflect as they see fit. The scheduling of work and other appointments on this day causes pain and hardship. We the people ask the administration to create this day as a national holiday and day of remembrance by the 15th anniversary of the attack on the World Trade Center because it lead to the loss of thousands of civilians, first responders and military personnel and because the country continues to grieve and will never forget.
