Make September 11th a National Holiday.

Created by L.M. on August 02, 2013

On Sept. 11, 2001, the entire world, as we know it, either an American citizen or not, changed. It is highly imperative for our government to recognize this day, honor it, and to make it a Federal holiday.

It is not just out of the respect of the Federal, State, and Local law enforcement, firefighters, EMT's, and the thousands of innocent people who lost their lives that day for simply just going to work, or the countless since the incident who have died from various types of Respiratory Cancer and other diseases, but to show the world that we, as a country, don't ever forget.

Sept. 11, 2001 was a day that although was one of the worst tragedies on American soil, it was something that brought us all together as a nation. Please consider making Sept. 11 a Federal Holiday. Thank you.
