We all can remember and never forget what took place on September 11th 2001. A series of four coordinated terrorist attacks by the Islamic terrorist group al-Qaeda on the United States on the morning of Tuesday, September 11, 2001. The attacks consisted of suicide attacks used to target symbolic U.S. landmarks. The attacks resulted in the deaths of 2,996 people, including the 19 hijackers.The 2,977 victims included 246 on the four planes, 2,606 in the World Trade Center and in the surrounding area, and 125 at the Pentagon. Nearly all of those who perished were civilians with the exceptions of 72 law enforcement officers, 343 firefighters, and 55 military personnel who died in the attacks. America went to war in a result of what happened. A lot of military lives were lost.
