The world is using up harmful but useful resources at an unhealthy rate. In order to sustain our life and this planet we need to fix our rate of consumption of oil related products and oil to reduce pollution. If solar and wind technologies were better funded we might be able to save ourselves the hassle when oil becomes scarce in a few years.
