Make "Seven Nation Army" by The White Stripes Our National Anthem

Created by A.K. on November 07, 2016

There's a lot of complicated political issues out there but one seems to be very simple... the national anthem. One side feels that "The Star Spangled Banner" is outdated and contains lyrics promoting slavery, which isn't very nice. The other side feels that not liking the national anthem is somehow disrespectful to our military, who deserve respect. So why don't we change the national anthem to a song that has no lyrics about slavery and has "army" right there in the title? "Seven Nation Army" by the White Stripes is obviously the best choice for the national anthem.

On a more subjective note, I personally think "The Star Spangled Banner" isn't a very good song (with the exception of the "and the rocket's red glare" part) and I think "Seven Nation Army" is a very good song.
