Sexual acts against children under 14 are rampant in the United States. I believe that any sexual act against a child under the age of 14 be a Federal Offense, with a mandatory prison sentence. Such acts include child pornography, rape, molestation and sodomy. After prision terms have been met, closer monitoring, above and beyond a national registry should be conducted, including house arrest, GPS enforcement, living within miles of schools, parks, community centers, not yards. Repeat offenders of sexual crimes against children should face prison terms of 20 to life, without option of early release.
It is time to protect our children.
