Mr. President,
You stated that,
"It doesn't matter whether you’re... gay or straight, you can make it here in America..."
There is a problem with this; the LGBT community does not retain Protected Class status current United States Anti-Discrimination Law.
In no less than twenty-nine (29) states it is LEGAL to fire and evict American citizens because of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
Now is the time to mandate that the Congress add "Sexual Orientation” and “Gender Identity” as Protected Classes under United States Anti-Discrimination Laws.
