Make 'shaken baby syndrome' and other severe forms of child abuse a federal crime, punishable up to life in prison or death. People are sentenced to 20+ years in prison for marijuana but get a slap on the wrist for harming children and it is unacceptable that this has been allowed to continue. It is time that our government ACTUALLY does something of importance and protect children from these atrocities. Make it known that the U.S. will no longer take child abuse lightly.
