Shark finning is an abhorrent practice where sharks are caught, the living shark's fins and tail are cut off, and they are thrown back into the ocean to die. This supplies the fins for shark fin soup. Sharks are vital to the health of the ocean and their numbers are dwindling. They deserve protection from this inhumane practice. Make finning illegal in U.S. waters.
