Second hand smoke kills.
Many people insist on smoking in a enclosed space such as the car with children or other non-smokers have to breathe in the toxic smoke.
With the new laws passing for no texting or talking on the phone while driving, why isn't smoking illegal while driving? People have to fiddle around looking for their cigarettes and a lighter. This causes drivers to be distracted and cause accidents. This is no different than someone looking on their phone and calling someone.
People who smoke and drive are also throwing their cigarettes out of the window, which is littering. Littering is bad for the environment and puts our animals in danger.
