Make Social Security solvent without cutting benefits or raising the retirement age.

Created by J.M. on October 23, 2011

"Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" represent the basic human rights that should be supported by national budgets and our tax structure.

The well-being of seniors, health and job-challenged citizens should be guaranteed by fair and equitable policies that apply to all our citizens, regardless of their relative wealth or lack of resources.

Broad-based structures that avoid loopholes or special privileges must insure the common good for us all.

Lifting the income cap & subjecting capital gains to FICA withholding would increase the revenue enough to make it not only permanently solvent but would run at a profit & allow benefits to be increased (for everyone).
