Solar powered hydrogen airships would safer than jumo jets. They would have way less explosive potential than jets. Even when filled with hydrogen.
Most people survived the Hindenburg. No one survives jumbo jet crashes.
They would be roomy. Every passenger could have their own cabin. With air mattresses. Air filled furniture. Room enough to dance.
they would be zero carbon foot print to operate. So cheap.
And most important of all, they might save save the planet from global warming.
