MHP and the courts need to start enforcing the rules that are set fourth for LR and other release orders and stop resending them when the patient fail to comply with the order. family and police should be able to have people with Mental Health issues detained. further more the police need to stop saying we are not allowed to get involved in civil commits. for instance my brother has a TBI and he assaulted me and instead of taking him to the hospital like i requested so he could be check out by MHP they wanted to take him to jail. the jail is not always safe ether because they don't follow directions by the PCP Doctor for Medication I personally have to babysit the jail. there have been 9 people killed in our local jail due to medical and jail staff not giving a care.
