make the South its own country

If it feels like a foreign country and is vastly different politically and culturally it must be a different country right? Not so in America! We the people don't want people in Europe watching Duck Dynasty thinking we're all that kind of American when we aren't. If the South has certain values, political and social beliefs, and a way of life that is different from the rest of America then those differences shouldn't hold back the rest of the nation. There are many in the South that are ostracized, such as those who hold minority or no religious beliefs, gays, liberals, people of color, teachers, and others. While making the South its own country I propose we give these people amnesty to greatly reduce the discrimination they'd face.
