Our federal budget cannot sustain itself even with tax hikes. On behalf of the American people,your children and grandchildren, please start the spending cuts. Begin with the retirement pay of former Presidents, former Vice Presidents, and all former House and Senate members. The middle class is declining and no longer has its 401K or savings, they have been sold to buy food and clothes. The prior listed groups are living well and do not need the retirement income they are receiving.
