Make SSI payments equal to the minimum SSDI payments

SSI and SSDI are both payments made to people with disablities through the federal government. We are all aware that people that receive SSDI often struggle with food, housing, and medication due to their fixed income. The same holds even more so for people who have been found disabled but do not have enough "work credits" to qualify for SSDI. While the minimum payment for SSDI starts at $1000 a month, the maximum payment for SSI is capped at $733 a month, making it even harder to cover the most basic living expenses. Both SSI and SSDI have the same stringent requirements that must be met to prove a disability, they do not have the same requirements for payments, reporting requirements, or restrictions.
