The push to have photo-ID to vote is gaining momentum in conservative states, which has many issues with violating voter rights and civil liberties. A simple solution would be to have state-issued voter-ID include the person's photo. This would act as both another source of photo-ID for the many cases where that is necessary and put to rest the issues of states requiring photo-ID to vote.
While this is a state-level issue, it could benefit from a federal push and federal money to implement.
