We the people are APPALLED at the alleged murder of Walter Scott in North Charleston, SC, by Police Officer Michael Slager.
With so many police officers attempting to block all attempts by the public to exercising our rights and ensuring accountability, we ask that the Executive Branch, through the Department of Justice, release a statement of guidance affirming that right and bringing action and penalties to Police Departments that violate these rights.
Because this alleged murder would never have come to light without citizen recording of police officers, this is a first and basic step to correcting police misconduct.
