The killings of our black brothers: Michael Brown, Trayvon Martin, Tony Robinson, Freddie Gray, and hundreds of others by police cannot continue. This is a systemic assault on all our black brothers and sisters who live in fear for their lives in our "Land of the free."
We demand that the president personally disavow these abuses and pledge to use all power invested in our chief executive to stop the murder of our fellow Americans at the hands of our executive branch.
The executive branch and ultimately the president is responsible for staying silent while these abuses ravage our homeland. If we are truly the "home of the brave" let's have our president confront this issue out loud, in person.
This has gone on to long.
Too many have died.
