Make still existing, blatant forms of racism in the university system, better known as affirmative action, illegal.

Affirmative action, though certainly well intended, forces the school system to evaluate its applicants based not entirely on merit, but also on race. It is difficult to describe this as anything except racism. The policy of affirmative action would suggest that a person's race indicates an INHERENT disadvantage intellectually or culturally, which is ethically wrong, and certainly not the case. If we truly want racial progress we must encourage purely equal educational opportunities. Programs like FAFSA will judge how much financial help a student may need due to their family's economic situation, excluding income as a factor, but everyone deserves to be held to the same intellectual standards when considered in entry.
