Streptococcus is a infection that affects many Americans each year and because of this they miss many days of school and work. I believe this is detrimental to the productivity of our society and the safety of our people as it kills 15% of the infected. As such it should have actions taken against it to be made a federal crime in order to completely eradicate it from our country and to ensure that no child must suffer the pain that it causes.
