make student loans dischargeablein bankruptcy.

Created by B.L. on January 19, 2013

A myriad of Americans have taken out student loans in order to obtain a higher education. Though borrowing of any sort is a burden, one assumes (and is often told by lenders) that one shouldn’t worry about it, because when one acquires a college degree obtaining a career will be easy and thus paying off the loan won’t be a problem. In this economy however, that isn’t the case in the least. Many of us find ourselves underemployed or worst unemployed and monstrously buried in debt. If one needs to declare bankruptcy in order to survive and to start again, ALL OF OUR DEBT should be forgiven. Student loan lenders should not be exempt.
