A myriad of Americans have taken out student loans in order to obtain a higher education. Though borrowing of any sort is a burden, one assumes (and is often told by lenders) that one shouldn’t worry about it, because when one acquires a college degree obtaining a career will be easy and thus paying off the loan won’t be a problem.
