Make sufficient policies to combat the threat of climate change, including the support of research and development

Climate change is an event that has been reported by respected scientists, not only within the nation, but also around the world. Despite this and the fact that a majority of Americans would like more action to be taken against climate change, many are actually still represented by a climate change denier in congress. It is not only a disregard for the American public but also a disregard for democracy to continue the lack of sufficient action to combat this imminent threat. The people urge congress to take immediate action in creating an effort to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and increase carbon sequestration through the transition to renewable energy, funding in research towards energy storage, subsidies for growers to transition to bamboo farming, and reforestation of vacant area
