We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Make Super Bowl Monday a National Holiday

Created by M.G. on January 06, 2017

The Monday directly following the Super Bowl should become a national holiday, a holiday that is taken off work and school. There are many reasons Super Bowl Monday should become a national holiday. The day after the Super Bowl is historically one of the least productive school and works days in all of history. 7% of all American workers call in sick this Monday, nearly 5 million Americans will be late to work and an estimated 1/4 of people say that work production is lower. This is not to mention the students that stay up late and watch the big game. Cities in the city where the team won are almost certain to call off. Students will not be able to properly study and prepare for their tests and proper schooling the next day.
