Football is a true American sport, and it doesn't get any better than Super Bowl Sunday. By making this day a national holiday we will increase our national pride by highlighting our uniqueness as a nation. Also, if by making Super Bowl Sunday a national holiday, citizens would most likely get the next day off of work, which would increase travel and commerce around the country. More people would most likely travel to the city that the Super Bowl is held in, which would also boost the local economy. By making this day a national holiday, family time and family values would also see an increase due to more family and friends spending time together to celebrate our national sport. Overall, by making this day a national holiday, it would solidify how the American people already view this day.
