Make Super Bowl Sunday a National holiday, observed on the Monday after the game.

Created by K.N. on February 01, 2014

Make Super Bowl Sunday a national holiday, to be observed on the Monday following the game. Starting in 2015, our nation deserves a day to celebrate America's passion, which culminates in the most popular single event in this great nation's popular culture, The Super Bowl. There is nothing more American than Football and Baseball. While we get to enjoy 4-7 World Series games a season, there is only 1 Super Bowl. Billions of people around the world tune in to enjoy the game. The game brings family and friends together like other national holidays and generates billions of dollars to the economy. On the economy, the day following the Super Bowl is usually the most unproductive day in the work place. Having the day off would save the Government and businesses from waste.
