Make the Superbowl a national holiday

Created by D.C. on February 03, 2013

Making the superbowl a national holiday would have a great impact on the economy of Oxford Mississippi, the home of legend quarterback Eli Manning. Under the current laws Oxford is only permitted for sunday alcohol sales on days following home football games and on national holidays such as mother or fathers day. By making the superbowl a holiday restaurants in Oxford (a primary employer of college students) would have significantly more business for watching the big game.
