suppressers are mostly used to stop complaining and to make it easier to hunt not to do criminal activities. criminals don't care about the law so that makes this law basically useless and because of this law detachable suppressers for air guns are banned which causes lots of complaints because air guns can get really loud. some air guns can reach over 82 decibels and that causes lots of complaints which makes the shooter unhappy because he cant shoot his gun and it makes the neighbor unhappy because he needs to listen to shooting. The solution to this problem is to make the gun quieter and a suppresser does that job very well
