make sure the Bangladesh Government holds another national election that is free and fair to all political parties

As a US citizen of Bangladeshi Origin, I earnestly request US Government to see to it that the current Bangladeshi Government holds free and fair elections so that all political parties representing all walks of like in Bangladesh are heard. The recent polls were termed farcical in articles by leading newspapers and magazines. In addition, many developed nations such as the US, Canada, UK, Australia, Japan, Germany, and many more have expressed utter disappointment. I urge the US Government to step up its pressure towards the Bangladeshi Government and use sanctions or downgrade the nation to an unfavorable status if necessary in order to bring discipline to this nation.
