make sure the food our soldiers receive is unadulterated as little as possible.

I recently read a health study about the effects of MSG and artificial sweeteners and I started going through all of my food in the house and found out it was in almost everything I was eating and I started to think about all of my health problems in the Army and I believe that I have come to a possible conclusion. I had repeating respiratory infections, insomnia, chronic joint pain, worsening vision, constant lack of energy and worsening depression. Some of these problems have lessened since I got out and eat more fresh foods. Looking back I remember the people that had access to food outside of the DFAC seemed to have a little more energy and the people who could only eat at the the DFAC always seemed to have a prescription for sleep aids, pain meds or anti-depressants.
