Dear Mr. President,
Taiwan, also known formally as the Republic of China, is one of our closest allies in Eastern Asia. In the past few decades, Taiwan has lost recognition as a full state and influence to the People's Republic of China, so much that it even lost its seat in the UN.
Now that Taiwan has changed so much, Taiwan is still only recognized by a handfull of countries.Taiwan has its own government, pays its taxes to itself (and not the PROC), and has its own military, etc.
For clarification, we are saying that Taiwan should not be represented by the PROC, especially in the UN.
We know that you already probably think Taiwan is its own state, but we would like you to adress this issue, and make others know about it.
