make sure the US does not intervene in Syria.

The US should NOT intervene or give any aid to any side in the Syrian Civil War. Giving aid to the rebels in this conflict will only result in Al Qaeda and/or other terrorist organizations obtaining weapons. Weapons which may be especially dangerous, are shoulder launched surface-to-air missiles which can potentially bring down commercial jets, posing a tremendous danger to all air travelers. Bringing down the Syrian government may also increase the chances of terrorist organizations harboring terrorist training camps in Syria. The US is already clenched with debt and has already been in two major conflicts within the past decade. The US already has enough problems to deal with, we should not add another.
