Our current system of measurements is confusing, archaic and at odds with the rest of the world. We need to finally make the change to the simpler and vastly more efficient Metric System.
Already the language of science, medicine and many other aspects of our society, switching to the Metric System would ultimately do much to help our every day lives as citizens, and ease the burden of horrible conversions for visiting tourists and international commerce.
