If we limit the time Congressmen and Senators spend in office maybe they would actually get something done rather than devote their time to re-election. It is known that right after they get into office, they have to start the campaign all over again. Corporations and lobbyists contribute to these campaigns and influence policy through their donations. Our representatives should be concerned about what their constituents want, not about the dollars coming in to their campaign fund.
It is time to put a stop to the careers in congress. Then America might see some actual change.
