Senators and Congressmen should not be allowed to be re-elected time after time. They become unable and unwilling to represent the people that send them to Washington and more willing and able to be influenced by the culture of Washington and Special Interests. Senators should serve a maximum of two 6 year terms and Congressmen should serve no more than two 4 year terms. No one should spend their entire career on the payroll of Government. Others should serve and shorter terms of service would help limit the corruption and business as usual attitude that prevails in both houses. If two terms works for the President and Vice President, it should work for the rest of the Government. We the People should be represented in the best possible way.
