There are far too many Pit Bull attacks on other innocent animals and people as well. My neighborhood has approximately 6-12 in a small one block radius and they often run lose. My small breed pup was victim to an attack on 05/28/2013 while playing in his own fenced in yard. The Pit pushed through fence to grab him. After emergency surgery on my pup's nose, I now have two traumatized doggies afraid of their own yard.
I called 911 but Police no longer get involved unless death of pet or attack on person. Well my pup is a person to me and I am petitioning for strict laws on first time attacks before a child is malled next.
Too many Pit Bull owners are in denial, have bad attitudes and own more than one vicious killers.
Please help save our babies, our pets from endangerment.
