The Obama administration should lower barriers to accessing information on the Trans-Pacific Partnership negotiations, as well as disclose draft negotiation text.
Democratic principle demands greater transparency, and we echo Elizabeth Warren (D-MA)'s concerns stated in her letter to the United States Trade Representative:

The areas under negotiation have the potential for broad and long-lasting implications on domestic policy. Therefore, Congress and the public need adequate time to review and consider the scope and breadth of these changes in relation to existing federal law.
Until then, misinformation and outdated information will foster misapprehensions that may hinder or prevent public acceptance of this deal in the future.
