In order to promote the safety of air passengers, we ask the executive to make the TSA prohibit dangerous items from airplane cabins.
On Sept 12, 2001 the FAA banned knives and cutting instruments of any size, made of any material, from commercial planes and airport terminals. TSA Head Pistole said"I don't want TSA agents to be delayed by these", in a decision that one flight attendant union said will "not make flights safer"
We ask to follow more closely with the EU Regulations & IATA rules.
We must ban from the air all knives with sharp or pointed blades, dull blades over 2in, spearlike objects such as ski poles, and club like items including bats, billiard cues, "golf" clubs, lacrosse sticks, hockey sticks.
We should also consider banning frying pans, tennis rackets, & corkscrews.
