We propose making December 21 a national holiday. We think that we should have apocalypse day every year.
WHY? Good question and here are two good reasons to celebrate an annual DOOMSDAY....
1. It is a secular holiday. Everyone of ANY faith or no faith at all can enjoy it without litigation or listening to Bill O'Reilly whine about an attack on it.
2. It gives you an excuse to get away with all kinds of things because it is doomsday.
3. Nothing unifies people like bedlam and chaos and we should celebrate anything that brings folks together.
4. Let's face facts. The world IS going to end someday even if it is not during our lifetime. By celebrating every year, we increase our chances about being correct about an apocalypse.
5. DOOMSDAY celebrations would be good for the economy.
