Since millions of domestic animals are euthanized in the animal shelters and animal organizations of these United States for no other reason than they are homeless, this petition asks President Obama to, by executive order, make the United States Of America and its territories a No Kill zone for animals held in these facilities or any other facilities that euthanize for any other reason than to ease the suffering of animals with terminal conditions from which they have no hope of recovery. In addition this petition asks that a money be set aside in the national budget to pay for spaying and neutering these animals and to ensure their health and welfare until they can find permanent homes.
